Summary of the pre-event workshop – Successfully selling in the most promising and booming country in the world - China!

eCommerce in Italy is booming. With only one invitation, NetComm, the Italian eCommerce trade association and organizer, filled the special China pre-event workshop the evening before the main event on the 18 of May. The workshop was limited to around 50 people and only one representative per merchant was accepted, still there was only room for 65% of the merchants signing up.

At the 6th annual Italian eCommerce trade show on the 18 May in Milano, Mr. Julio Finzi, General Secretary of NetComm, moderates a panel discussion. The event has been growing each year and now had 2.400 visitors and four concurrent seminar tracks in addition to the exhibition.

The seminar was geared towards Italian eMerchants interested in increasing sales to Chinese consumers. It was a well-received seminar with very experienced and professional participants from the companies Alberto Guardiani, Arredatutto, Ausilium, Barilla Fratelli, Boscolo Hotels, Castaldi Illuminazione, Contactlab, Diego Dalla Palma, Fashion Air, Forzieri, Gemmyxit, Interactive Advertising Bureau, Intarget, KIKO cosmetics, Marcolin , Miniconf , Moda e Tecnologia, Moleskine, Oikyweb, Palazzo Grassi, Pedrera spa, Postemobile, Prada, Prenatal, Spazio Sei Fashion Group, Technogym, Vertime, Wireitalia, Zenmarket and some more. Several of the participants concluded that with the new eMall of China Unionpay, there is finally a promising alternative to the current C2C dominated market in China.
